On the weekends I keep a pot of water simmering all day to create more humidity inside the house so I can go without the glasses at home. I use an air washer humidifier every night I wear the glasses at work (I work in a hospital) or at the grocery or anywhere with high airflow. autologous serum eye drops about 3-8 times a day depending on how bad the dryness is. I’m on predforte drops once a day and have been using I put on the glasses and wear them all day. It can usually take up to 3 containers to really rehydrate my eyeballs. I keep Retaine MGD drops at my bedside and put drops in the second I wake up before I have too much of a chance to blink.

Warm compress (rice baggie) at night once I climb in bed. My dry eye is bad but this routine is working for me. It has basically allowed me to keep working. This is my problem as he noted about half my glands were blocked. Massage upper eyelid downwards and lower eyelid upwards (almost like you're trying to squeeze the last toothpaste out a tube, you're trying to push the oil through the blockage to clear it, the pre-heating makes this easier). 5 minimum, you must maintain the heat right into the next step.

Hot compress for about 10 minutes on your eyes. Use of a tight plaster cast (or other long-term constriction) of the lower leg Crossing the legs regularly Regularly wearing high boots Pressure to the knee. He diagnosed me with a type of blepharitis that is very mild but essentially blocks my oil tear glands if left untreated. If any of this sounds like you then some of this might help. My problem is I get dry eye randomly through the day but also mostly when looking at computers.
